and we have come up with a plan. bench defoe and bring him on as a sub so he can run aganst tired defenders

Both defoe and lennon could be used late on in a game to use the full extent of their speed against tiring defenders, problem is you do need to make them tired, kyle walker could have been used right wing with lennon coming on later after walker ran them ragged earlier, likewise pav used early and defoe replacing him sometime through the second half.....but i am sure harry has explored these possibilities himself, he isnt a mug.

No mate its a tactical option if you had someone like kyle walker running at defenders in one half and lennon giving them what for in the second, makes sense to me from a tactical point of view.

I have always said that hutton was to blame for lack of service to lennon, now he isnt in the side lennon is more like his old self.

Great player, i wouldnt bench him but i might use him tactically if i were the manager.

he was woefull in the 1st half. and no great 2nd half.

we should sumtimes play him on the left or start him on the bench.

players like lennon and walcot are inpact players. they do well when teams are chasing the game and have to push up leaving loads of space for lennon
