Fans criticism of players is nothing new, although as you say Nic, it is probably more hysterical now. I believe thats down to the amount of TV coverage and the constant replays and showing of every little mistake, on the basis that every goal is preventable.

Yep that's about right seebee - the pressure to perform is 100% for players, managers - an error and your career can be over - mind you there is always Gomes !

No wonder they lose the plot from time to time

but these fringe players are not going to get games now.

the amount of money these players earn and they cant play 2 games a week.

man c played on sunday then there 2 strikers played on tuesday.

surley ade could of been on the bench as pav was out.
and yes i think pav would of made a differnce last night compared to kane. pav likes to shoot. and is ok in the air and on hes day is very good.

harry got the team wrong last night. and why was charlie not taken off.

ion taarabt was brillant for first few games of the season. he hit the post in a few games. he was so close to scoring some good goals but now hes confidence is shatterd.

when was the last time nani played well for man u but nobody calling him rubbish

what did we learn from last night.
walker is def our first choich right back now
    bassong charlie can go.
kane wont make it. . and all the others are so far away from first team now.
falque looked good when he came on and showed some passion.

No patience at all - everything is now , now , now

Baz was reflecting on what has changed in football for the worse

Well one thing that has changed is the hysterical demands of fans for instant gratification week after week

Thing is Nic a few years ago the same 11/15 players would play 60 odd games a season and still look good at the seasons end. The culture and money of modern football has made these honed & toned atheletes soft. The pressure was on them to win trophies but the financial rewards were not so great. Since I have followed football the fans have demanded victory and criticised the players & managers. Difference is a few years ago we done it in small pockets now we have a possible audience of millions thanks to the internet & other modern meeja outlets . . . .

Not only did they play 50 -60 games a season but every day after training they were down the pub, eighteen pints of bitter, 20 Woodbines and a meat and potato pie

    happy days

they say theres no easy games and every game is hard.
well thats not true. there are easy games.

a game is how hard you make it. somtimes you be 2 3 0 up and you can just breez through a game.
