    Modric Empty Modric

Post by HotspurRoper Tue Dec 21 2010, 18:06

Reports this morning are that Carlo Anceloti is preparing to swoop for Luka Modric. It was inevertable that Modric was going to turn heads, am just a little worried that you dont know how he is going to react to the amount of dosh Chelsea are waving at him! Now i for 1 would not put Modric in the same bracket as say a Berbatov who at the 1st sign of £££'s is off like a shot. I know Modric has just signe a new deal and has came out and said he is really happy at Spurs on more than 1 occassion so he probably going no where and Harry wouldnt allow it surely, but theres still niggling doubts in the back of my mind!!!

Probably just paper speculation Lee. All these games being called off mean they have to fill the column inches somehow. But they do say no smoke without fire ! ! ! I would imagine many managers admire Moddle & would like him in their sides . . . .

Thats why Modders signed a 6-Year long contract because he loves it at Spurs, he isnt and doesnt want to go anywhere. Smile

We cannot afford to lose him if we are serious about winning things he imo is the most important player we have.

Yea i agree he is the best player we have imo , there is a lot of stuff he does that goes unoticed to a certain degree to sell him would be like ripping the heart and soul out of the side , 5 year ago maybe we would have .
