Defoe slag over, now time to slag off Parker. Why is Adalongrestcosofapoorlytoe still on the pitch? He has walked around all game and hidden away on the left wing . . . . .

We are running out of gas, my guess is most of our players won't report for international duty and it gives us 2 weeks to get everyone fit.

Now I don't normally do this, but I have to agree with Lought on Defoe, forget work rate, his starting to miss chances that the likes of Aguero, Surez don't. For some time now his hitting it straight at the keeper, they say they are great saves, but I disagree. If we can scrape through to a CL place, we need major surgery in the striker department.

i can see both sides of the fench.

ade worked really hard for the team today but had no service.

defoe is more dirct but still dont score.

we need to inprove our forwards

Adanicerest done nothing Lought. He spent the 1st half wide left, and some of the 2nd half until he got a note from teacher telling him to wake the f*ck up and start earning his corn! FFS he's playing as the lone striker and needs to be in the box scoring, or at least attempting to score . . . . . .

vis why was he going to the left wing. to get the ball.

how many chances does defoe need to score a goal. is that 16 games now. must be 50 chances.

berbatovv was diffenrt class to our strikers

avb why start jan when we had enough players to play center back after 120 mins on thursday.

why start ade when defoe had a rest on thursday.

why leave parker on. we had enough freash players for today.

    from a spurs fan

    On my way back.
Just a terrible day at the office. Bales first bad game in a very long time. Ade at least appeared to be trying and dererves credit for that. I'm trying to forget all the other performances.

As for the crowd - the second half was probably the flattest and quietest I have ever witnessed at the Lane. Dreadful.

I dunno Lought considering Spurs employ him on good wages as a striker . . . ..

According to you Lought Adalaydown was working his socks off and Defoe missed 2 sitters? Maybe that's why AVB started him? Can't have it all ways my friend . . . ..

thought he should of started defoe because ade played 120 mins on thursday.

Half of the reason Ade never got in the box is because of the truly indisciplined and selfish performances of Bale, Sigurdsson and Dempsey. The second half saw these three behind Adebayor, yet they all wanted to play in the centre. This problem was only made worse when Defoe came on for Sig. Bale and Dempsey were wholly ineffective and by hovering around in the centre constantly, only congested the middle and helped break down our own attacks. We needed at least 1 player out wide (in an advanced position, not simply from fullback), to stretch the opposition.

The commonsensical thing to do would have been to instruct Bale to stick to the left and Dempsey to play behind Ade with Sig on the right. After Sig went off Bale should have definitely moved out to the left because we became even more narrow, as although Sigurdsson clearly did not want to play on the right wing, he at least occasionally stayed out there.

Naughton had a sound game apart from one critical part of the game, the goal, he was the wrong side of probably the slowest forward the prem has ever seen.

Do you recall Hugo actually having a save to make, we dominate most teams, even when we are tired, just can't stick the ball I n the net.

Talking of players that don't give a f*ck, we Lao need a new left back, no passion, no positional sense and dreadful distribution, worst game in a Spurs shirt, once once, thank f*ck for the Intenational break.
