We' ve heard a lot about it recently and has been used as a reason why England were so crap in th world cup. We should have a mid season break like other countries BUT hving read that Spurs will travel something like 13000 miles during their pre season tours because of the financial importance, it strikes me that if we did have a break, the top clubs would arrange friendly matches in that time so defeating the object of the break. I think one year Man Utd actually did do that very thing. Another example of money ruling the game.
