    We wont become more consistent until we get our full quota of first choice players back, we just dont field the same eleven any game because of injuries.

    Heres what the first choice team should look like.

    gomes, ekotto, hutton/corluka, king,dawson,bale,vdv,hud,lennon,defoe, pav/couch.

    i am not a great admirer of corluka but he does give lennon more cover than hutton, but hutton is playing the best we have seen him since his move from rangers.

    dont expect 442 lew my old tea pot it will be defoe with vdv just behind or crouchy against big physical teams vdv will always play in is best position

    i think we will off load a couple in january and use the players we have left, ok add a striker if need be, we have that new defender coming so we really dont need to be adding more players
