What i fear.......

After watching the fulham game on espn some of my fears about tottenham were realised ! i hope i am wrong.

That without bale the team is toothless, thats why other teams are marking him closely, fouling him, obstructing his runs, whatever ! stop bale and you stop spurs.

My mind goes back to that memorable comeback against inter, bale was the reason we made that result respectable.

Now i know i am going to be quoted the names of modric, vdv and others to say this assumption is wrong, however the evidence is there, for me at least.

Most teams have one outstanding player, the richer teams have many to try and sway who wins titles, we have one player.....bale, who makes a vast difference to our results, and if harry doesnt see this and give the lad some protection during games then we will have a poor second half to the season.
