explain the 7 for Pav Lought! His attempts on goal (i counted 4) were pathetic, dont get me wrong Defoe was crap today aswell our forward line needs real work on in the summer

I had to check the stats again to make sure we were watching the same game. To me Defoe was not involved at all, and so it proves:

Defoe 1 shot to Pav's 2 (ok, negligible difference)
    Defoe 15 attempted passes to Pav's 27
    Defoe 1 good tackle to Pav's 5.
Defoe involved in 1 free kick decision, Pav involved in 9

not to mention Defoe not touching the ball once in the opposition penalty area..

Defoe was shocking today. I agree Lee, Arry needs to seriously look at our strike force come the Summer. Defoe not the player he was at the moment. Pav? I dunno maybe lost a bit of confidence.

Defoe was fcuking woeful again today. To suggest otherwise is deluded at best. Atleast Pav got about the pitch and got on the ball abit linking up with the midfield, Defoe on the other hand was nonexistant. Pav rarely if ever gets a decent run in the team even if he has a good game and scores so you can understand him being abit rusty but Defoe is one of the first names on the team sheet and has been sh*t since the run in last season bar one game for England against abunch of plumbers.

The strikeforce needs to be addressed in a big way this summer as we're quality everywhere else.

Defoe just looks out of sorts atm , i dont know what it is with him but yeaterday i cant even recall seeing him on the pitch i thought he had been subbed, maybe his long lay off is behind it all, but having him on the field atm is a wast of time yet again our goals came from midfield & defensive players , we should have got suarez , he looks fcuking awesome ..
