The only plus I can see at the moment is that Sandra looks like Thudd but can tackle, can't wait to see them 2 playing together. Gutted. We needed the 3 points today. This is what it feel's like when a draw feels like a defeat. . . . . . .

A special tribute was paid to former defender Dean Richards before two of his old clubs Wolves and Spurs met in the Premier League on Sunday.

Richards, who died last weekend aged 36 after a long battle with illness, also played for Bradford and Southampton.

His widow Samantha and their children Rio and Jaden joined the teams before the match at Molineux.

Representatives of all his four former clubs held their shirts aloft on the pitch before a minute's applause.

"These shirts are to be signed by members of the current squads and will then be auctioned off in aid of St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds where Dean passed away," said a Wolves spokesman.

Current Tottenham defender Ledley King held the number 36 shirt worn by Richards at Spurs, while Matt Murray had the Wolves top.

Before kick-off and during the match, Wolves fans showed their appreciation as they sang: "Deano, there's only one Deano."

Murray, who played in goal for Wolves before injury ended his career, said: "Ask anyone who played with Deano and they will come back with a simple response. Top man. Because that's what he was."

Ex-Wolves player Don Goodman and former England manager Graham Taylor were among those who paid tribute.

Former Southampton boss Dave Jones and ex-Saints striker James Beattie also attended.

Both sets of players wore black armbands and there were tributes from former team-mates and friends in the matchday programme.

"The club aimed to come up with a fitting tribute which is both simple and respectful in honouring Dean's memory in accordance with the family's wishes," added the spokesman.

Premier League stars joined hundreds of mourners on Friday at the funeral of Richards in his home city of Bradford.

Richards was forced to retire from the game in 2005 after suffering from dizzy spells and headaches - an illness which was initially diagnosed as an inner ear infection.
