I don't know, for all his overall CL heroics, he's generally been totally ineffective in the league this last season. He's also in his 30s now and his value will be plummeting rapidly, which Levy will be very well aware of.

Hopefully they'll offer us an eight figure sum for him and Defoe and we can clear the decks for some arrivals.

Ive learnt over the years that much that is written by the Press about our players and club is nonsense to a degree, for example modders to utd for 30 mill , do me a favour , double that and your nearer the price , if crouch & defoe leave we wont know until it happens imo
