Coming up to the 70 th minute and I'd give you a five out of ten for your performance but an ten on ten for the goal

Blackburn lack energy and morale rock bottom

With no second goal though ................?

I find my-self strangely disapointed. A superb team performance but for all the posession we score just 2 goals ? I see how Chelski destroyed QPR earlier and think to my-self we should have done the same to Blackburn. Walker, brilliant. Kaboul, so good to see him back, so many other individual and for the team performances, but yet again we failed to capatilise on our dominance and I hope that doesn't come back to haunt us. Why give Defoe just 3 fekin minutes when we need goals ? I'm not complaining because I thought we played really well today but I just wanted more goals and a message sent out that we are still The Mighty Spurs, the most attractive team of this season . . . .

Nervy game to watch. It had the feel of one of those games where they get just the one chance and bang!

No reason to get carried away here, Blackburn were truly awful and Steve Keane? Owed Aitch a favour did he? For 90 minutes they showed not an ounce of enterprise or willingness to gamble.

Still, the result was what matters and it will be a good confidence boost, which is just as important as the points.

I think you guys are being harsh on Modric though, he ran the show and was always probing. The only thing Blackburn really did throughout the game was defend rather tightly, never showing any real ambition and, thereby, not opening up the game in a way that would have seen a few more clearer chances for us.

But consider that we scored twice, hit the bar twice and wasted a good few chances with relatively poor shooting attempts. Bale and Modric should be kept back at training for extra shooting practice IMO.

Part one complete though so no real complaints from me.

I thought not having parker in mid field made all the difference , we tend to over pass the ball in the middle when parker plays , nothing against him, but we just do, never heard of the phrase to many cooks spoil the broth , well having the likes of parker vdv and modric in the middle together caused us to over do things , today i thought the balance was far better , we looked much more like our old self's , although not to get carried away it was a poor blackburn side and i expect old arry will change it yet again

Surprising that over the 90 minutes that Rovers did not create one scoring chance - Hoillett a player who has impressed me but today totally apathetic

For Spuds I was impressed with Sandro and a great goal from Walker - Lennon good in a totally wild way too

i thought modric played well and started our moves off

lobo great point about no parker
sandro offers more. he can tackle hes faster
and he dont look lost in oppoents half

    good performance though.

but why didnt lennon come off straigh away.
why risk him when we have 3 big games to come

Walkers goal today was the first direct free kick we scored since 26th January 2010! The scorer that day was Bentley and the team was Blackburn Rovers.
That record is appalling but thank god it is over.

we did score a free kick in the uefa cup super pav

i have to say if i was taking a free kick i would want robbo in goal Very Happy

you could have had 3 goalkeepers there and it would not have been saved, why do you always find a negative, I dont think for one second Walker thought "oh its Paul Robinson, ive got more chance of scoring"

great technic from walker but not as good as this one

Pity he had to rely on the keeper being deliberately distracted by a player in an offside position - should not have been given

but it was top corner. watch robbo. walker shot hits the net mid height

stil a great free kick but robbo tends to let in lots of free kicks and long range efforts

i remember when the twat lined up wall in the chelsea cup final and then stood behind the wall. droba just shot into empty net
