    eastmond    ,wilshire,walcott,campbell,,watts,gilbert,hoyte,simpson
    and a few more have PLAYED FIRST TEAM, this kicks your 10% ratio clean
    into touch vis and baz, you keep saying they aint first team, but they
    are or they wouldn of played, a first team

    The ones highlighted red are not first team according to your clubs website Burger.

    more than ends it baz,denilson,senderos,djourou,traore,walcot,vela who may be considered bit part players are considered by arsenal as first team squad members, from the 2003/6 youth and res set up there are about 8 players in and around arsenal first team today, and in that squad there are 4 english lads, 3 of them with us at very early age with very bright fitures (walcot,wilshire,gibbs) i think that more than covers the 3 questions that get keep getting rolled into one,

    They may have played for the first team but they are not considered first team members by Arsenil. That's the difference.
    I never had any problems with who played for the team Burger. My only querie was how many games are they going to get?

    This thread has moved on over the weekend and I think the original point has been lost, it's certainly not about walcott anymore anyway.
    I suppose what should be said is that Arsenal have many youngsters coming through with bright potential, many of them are English, if they make the grade then beuno uno senor.
    They are listed as being in the reserve squad, but a few of them, as part of the natural progession of making the grade, have made first team appearences. There's nothing unusual about that at a big club like Arsenal.
    I'm not saying 'big club like Arsenal' to fish for bites either, it's fact. We've moved on in the last 20 years, and once your new training facilities are open i'd hazard a guess that Spurs will suddenly decide that a reserve squad is a good idea again.
